Water colour painting came to me when I had just had a stroke so I guess it found me, being told to use my arm I decided to buy some paint, water colour was the cheapest. I tried the usual subjects pets, flowers etc.

Having time on my hand I walked down the side of the canal and river although birds are wonderful to watch the reflection they make intrigued me more.

9 years on I now publish my own prints and cards I also sell original art work and have a SLR anti shake camera and a walking stick just in case I fall in the water.

I paint water lily, frogs, butterfly, damselfly, wild fowl and otters using the reflection they make to create my pictures.

2008 I became an elected member of the Watercolour Society of Wales, well done me! patron the prince of Wales who is a watercolour painter and exhibitor with the society
