My painting combines two of my major interests in life: Military History and Painting.
I have been a re-enactor for 10 years and have met many wonderful people around the world in many interesting uniforms. All the paintings in this growing series are real people in historically accurate uniforms, adopting a natural and relaxed pose, as only someone comfortable in their uniform could be. In my opinion, this gives a more accurate insight as to what this soldier would have really looked like. They are painted in watercolour and reproduced here as gallery quality giclee prints in fade-resistant inks on German etching paper. Each print is part of a signed limited edition of 50.
