Artist Richard Elliott

Richard Elliott was born, raised & still resides in the South of England.
He has enjoyed painting & drawing since childhood.
Largely self taught he enjoys working in a variety of mediums and creating different, but fairly traditional, artwork.
Mostly the art he creates is about the aesthetic as opposed to the need to create a narrative.
Whether it's figurative, portraiture, landscape or abstract Richard likes to create art that everyone can enjoy.
In recent years he has concentrated on a series of commissioned, themed portraits, (with popular culture references), and tailored Trompe l'oeils.
