| A former art student and hobbyist I have painted for many years but lost some in between when I had my children. I like to paint when I feel the need to express myself quietly away from the worldly pressures. Usually in oils with an ethnic feel, I paint many subjects in sillhouette using vibrant, contrasting colours for rich and expansive landscapes or sunsets. Taking my inspiration from South Africa I create works that I feel stand out and brighten up their locations.
