Artist Robert Saunders

I studied Art at Bourneville School of Art, Birmingham with friend and tutor, Pete Beswick. I later studied at Herefordshire college of Art and Design with Paul Scull. I've worked for many years with watercolour. I enjoy the fluidity and spontaneous results I can achieve. Once I have chosen my subject I work very quickly wet into wet , lifting and reworking untill I have the result I desire. I have recently used the same techniques working with acrylic. I exhibit and sell my work in galleries throughout the U.K. Also R.B.S.A. Birmingham, Victoria museum, Bath and the Affordable Art Fair, Bristol and London. I paint full time from my home near Bath.
