My art training began in 1989 and I completed my degree in 1993. It gave me the chance to try out a number of image making methods. I have done work in print, photography, water colour and now I am painting in acrilycs. It is the process that interests me and learning new possibilities and limitations in image making.
The paintings I am working on at the moment have two strands. In the life drawing I am trying to get to the person inside. To find out somthing of the essence of the sitter.
The sea paintings on the other hand are about the abcence of the human. They are empty wilderness of sea sky and land.
