i have no artistic background as such.I have had an appreciation of art since a child which exceeded any ability for many years .I worked as a hairdresser for quite a few years and a DJ .My influences come from the pop art of Richard Hamilton and Hockney and the photos of Gered Mankowitz and David Bailey.I also like some of Rothko,s "bleeds".Initially an untrained "philistine" but with a punk rock ethos of non exclusion .i have put a few things out to friends and worked on my pictures trying to garner opinion and acquire some expertise whilst producing ,surprisingly, the type of art i always admired
