 Born in 1952, I have come somewhat late in life to painting and have only recently, in the last few years started to spend more time at the easel.
I have tackled the key subjects from land and seascape to still life and portraiture. Oil on board or smooth canvas is my preferred medium although I have experimented with watercolour, charcoal and pencil as well.
From 1973 until 1993 I ran my own picture framing business in Oban, Argyll and so have been closely associated with paintings and art for a good many years. I still frame my own pictures but have given up doing it as a profession.
