Artist Samantha Warden

My name is Samantha Warden. I grew up and still live in the South of England close to the coast, Living near the sea has always influenced my life, particularly in the subject and feel of my work. My art is one of the great passions in my life, and every piece enables me explore and develop myself and my work.

My other great passion is people, particularly the wellbeing of the mind and soul. The complexity and majesty of the mind has always fascinated me, and the effects of stimulus on feelings and emotions is what drives the development of my work. My aim is to design pieces that evoke emotional responses in the viewer and encourage people to explore their emotions responses.

I have developed some of my pieces specifically with the enhancement of positive mental wellbeing in mind. In these pieces I have tried to create tranquil scenes to enable the viewer to engage with the work in a positive and uplifting way. My aim is to help people reflex on their own inner world and develop a more positive mental state.
