 After graduating from Lancaster University in 1997 with a BA Honours in Illustration, I decided to pursue a career in graphic design. It wasn't until 2005 that I decided to put away the computer screen & trade it in for a piece of canvas. I haven't stopped painting and producing original artwork since.
I've been quite successful over the past couple of years selling to various galleries in the UK & I've now decided to venture out more on my own.
The best thing about being an artist is the enjoyment I get from my work. When I complete a piece of work, it's always a great feeling to take a step back and feel happy about what I've just created. When others appreciate my artwork and the effort that goes into it, then that makes it all worthwhile.
My paintings are mainly oil on canvas panel / board with vibrant colours and have a quirky contemporary feel.
