Artist Simon Benson

Hi I'm Simon an artist currently living and working in Cornwall. I moved from Torquay in 2009 where I had a small studio selling and exhibiting my work, taking commissions for paintings and portraits and giving art lessons to groups and individuals. I enjoy using acrylics for most of my paintings to produce bold and colourful effects that capture my imagination, or inspired by my trips and adventures around Devon and Cornwall. For portraits, I like to work in pencil as I feel they give a striking but also a subtle and gentle finish to my subject.
