Artist Sonny Forbes

Having studied at Brunel College of Art in Bristol for a HND in graphic design this had a great influence on the style of painting I have become recognised for today. I have fused my love of music and film with a clean, graphic style and bold use of colour to recreate images of iconic figures throughout the decades. I select subjects that have been most prevalent and have had the greatest influence on my life with each iconic figure being a cultural representation of a different chapter in my life.
