Artist Stephanie Weeding

I studied art through school and from there i knew drawing, painting and sculpting was what i wanted to do for life. So therefore i went to develop my skills at Redcar & Cleveland college for two years. I have just finshed my two year course and in a year i plan to study fine art at university.

It was at college were i found a few art techniques such as wash on wash off that suited me and my work best. I also prefer to use many materials in my paintings to add different textures and dimension to the suface. My art is a self portrait showing my intrests and things i have experienced in my life so far.

The artists that inspire me the most are Jasper Johns, Robert Rauschenberg and Jackson Pollock.
