 I am a self taught artist living in the North-East of England. I have had no formal training but I started my career as a spray painter after achieving an O Level art at school; I have worked in the Motor Industry for 31 years. I began by painting heavy goods vehicles by hand and spray, adapting the company logo to fit along the vehicles; an example of this, is the work carried out for I C I - "That's My Petrol". I also did a lot of signwriting in the area for local companies and personnel. I have only recently seriously renewed my interest in art and can think of nothing better than being cocooned in my own world in an attempt to create my lifetime masterpeice. I have been concentrating on painting 'Rock Art' with subjects including some of my personal favourite artistes such as Jimi Hendrix, The Rolling Stones and The Beatles.
