Artist Steve John

I attended Farnham College of Art and Design in the early 80's, leaving with a diploma in Animation and Graphic design. 25 years of working in the animation industry followed, including working for Bob Godfrey (Roobarb and Custard fame), 3 series of Superted for s4c, Chuck Jones' Peter and the Wolf, and more recently Aardman in Bristol. My love of painting followed me through the animation years, and I now class myself as a full time artist. My style ranges from cartoon to quirky, landscape to abstract, and find my animation training has given me the ability to switch or maintain styles very quickly. Somebody recently called my Art, "Art that makes you Smile" so that is now my motto.
