 Sue lives and works on farmland at the foot of the Pennines, her inspiration comes from the landscape, childhood memories, life experiences and current ecological issues.
Specialising in Textiles, she manipulates re-cycled materials using various techniques, including free embroidery, wax, paint, image transfer and print. Her work demonstrates a unique ability to transform familiar, everyday materials, into an organic representation of her surroundings and observations.
In contrast Sue also paints beautiful, large images on canvas. With an alternative use of colour and contrast, her intention is to enhance a living or work space with vibrancy and spirit. Her style highly detailed and well adapted for interiors. Technically perfect these paintings will bring life and character to any interior.
