Artist Sue George

After a college course in Graphic Design I went on to complete further studies in Botanical Illustration.
Due to the demands of family life my painting was put to one side but several years later I had both the opportunity and encouragement to return to this love of painting.
Working initially with watercolours for detailed floral compositions I now use acrylics and often paint on a much larger scale.
This medium enables me to experiment with both dramatic colour and textures while the landscape around my home in Wales provides a never ending source of ideas.
Paintings are in private collections and my work has been exhibited in gallery exhibitions throughout the U.K.
