Artist Sue George

After a college course in Graphic Design I went on to complete further studies in Botanical Illustration. Several years later I had both the opportunity and encouragement to return to painting and began to teach evening art classes for adults. Working initially with watercolours for detailed floral compositions I now paint primarily with acrylics on a much larger scale. This medium enables me to experiment in both my abstract work and also to convey impressions of the dramatic local landscape around my home in Wales. Paintings are in private collections and my work has been exhibited in gallery exhibitions throughout the U.K.
