 I was born and grew up in Visaginas, Lithuania where I developed an interest in art at a very early age. Having won a number of awards and medals for art at school and college, I subsequently trained for a short time under the Russian artist, Albina Demijanovna. My pictures are about seeing, looking, feeling. Sources of stimuli are complex, ranging from the familiar landscapes where the play of light infiltrates the sub-conscious and provides an escape, to the mundane interiors brought to life through the interplay of light.
Each painting and photograph has its' own story to tell and they mean a lot to me. I hope that everyone gets a little something for themselves out of my art, and in a way that's another story personal to them. I`ve always been interested in art and have been drawing since my childhood.
