Tom Duckmanton studied art throughout school, at GCSE and A-Level, achieving top grades in both. He then moved on to complete a foundation art degree at the University of Gloucestershire, leaving this institute with a high merit. Work by this artist was included in an Exhibition of ‘Bright Young Things’ at the Albatross Gallery, showcasing work by upcoming artists. This exhibition received coverage in the magazine Cotswold Life and a piece by Tom Duckmanton was used as the primary advertisement in the aforementioned publication. An artist inspired by the old masters, and driven by a desire to capture beauty above conceptuality, Tom Duckmanton continues to produce work alongside reading History at the University of Warwick.
