Artist Tracey Pitt

Art GCSE at high school, NVQ Level 2 in art and design as well as BTEC Diploma covering life drawing, fashion and textiles, photography, graphics and ceramics at college. Many of my recent paintings are inspired by the remarkable works of Gaudi and I share his passion for exploring elements of colour, shape and space. I also like to create pieces, which explore movement as presented in my figurative paint collection. Within these paintings I wanted to capture and portrait a playful yet romantic feel through the range of diverse and natural body movements we make particularly through dance. Many of my traditional pieces of work are inspired from the places I have visited. These paintings hold many memories for me and share insight into my emotions and aspirations.
