 I have been painting professionally since 1980, mainly as a traditional sign writer. Part of my work includes airbrushing and pictorials, using both oil and enamel paint.
My late father Derek Tanswell was an artist throughout his life and influenced me greatly. His encouragement led me to continue developing my skills and I remain grateful to him.
In 2009 I had my first book published. LEARN HOW TO PAINT SIGNS Introductory Guide. and In 2010 my second book was published, LEARN HOW TO PAINT SIGNS Freestyle Guide. These Books are available from Waterstones and Amazon.co.uk I also teach Traditional Sign Writing at Assington Mill Arts and Craft Centre in Suffolk.
