I started off as a fashion designer in London designing clothes for bands. Thin
Lizzy was the best known one. Three years later a near death experience changed
the course of my life. I became conscious of another part of myself. I had the
opportunity to travel extensively for many years and became very interested in
ancient cultural methods of healing.
My fascination is with the silent kingdom...that of nature..the mineral
kingdom, with its unexpected, unseen beauty.. I am drawn to rocks, stones,
crystals, sea shells and feel energies through them. Much of my inspiration also
comes from the study of arch-type energies and the tarot.
This insight leads me inside where the beauty lies. I like to photograph nature
in this way. There is no particular way, everything is done with feeling. I find
that the moment you notice and enter into communication with nature something
beautiful is revealed, just in the same way with people. the truth and the
beauty lies inside! Beyond the mask.
In each of the artworks strong images and colours are used to create a moment
of contemplation or reflection. When you look closely you will see different
windows and faces appear.
