This painting just fell out of my paint brush. The maternal hen coaxes her hunkered brood in the hot summer sun, trying to lead them to a cool area. Cotton like seeds drift past the deep shade in the lazy air. A 2.5 inch border includes a 1/2 inch liner for mounting and framing. Not mounted or framed.
