Description of artwork The back of a stone Buddha looks out over an undefined universe and we simultaneously see all the detail of a leaf and water drops. The microcosm in the macrocosm. To consider both is to consider the universe and meditate well. Prints of this painting have been popular as the image appears to provide a restive space. In some ways it is a defining piece for me.
