Description of artwork A happy memory of a day spent walking and painting in the Welsh Borders. I made some colour sketches of this beautiful wooded valley during a holiday near Hay-on-Wye and created this work on my return home. We have glimpses of rolling hills and water showing through the texture and pattern of the silver birch trees.
