Seascape inspired by the beautiful coastline surrounding the welsh town of Tywyn Painted in a semi abstract non-literal style. My paintings are dark and reflect my love of thunderstorms, rain, cold winter days and walking in moonlight. I visit places and absorb the atmosphere memorise the detail and then paint later in the studio, without using sketches or photographs. Painted on box canvas, 18mm depth
