Misty view from Curbar Edge. Curbar is a place in Derbyshire that I am drawn to, partially because of it every changing appearance due to weather conditions and partly due to the sense of scale of the place.
I have been working on this painting over the last month, building layers of mist and cloud using just acrylic paint and water, it is quite a painstaking process but I am pleased with the result. This is a big painting 4 foot by 3, so you will need a large wall and room to "stand back" to fully appreciate it.
