I hope you can feel the quiet and solitude in the work because those are some of the things I love about The Pennines in Weardale near where I live. Particularly in winter they have a wonderful "at one with nature" and a splendid isolation and rawness that is a perfect antidote to modern life. The view is at the start of a favourite family walk on the outskirts of the small village of Edmundbyers so it also has fond personal memories of great walks in the snow, which at times was deep! This landscape painting is an original watercolour painted on acid free 100% cotton rag and has a quality 3" double mount ready for framing. This, in effect makes the image 6" wider and taller than the Test Drive image.
