Description of artwork This tree caught my eye as I walked through our local botanical gardens. When I read the name plate I was delighted to see that it's common name is 'Tree of Heaven'. It seemed such an appropriate name for this tree; there was something quite majestic about it. The tree is backed by various other trees, one of which has a Clematis Montana growing over. The side of the canvas is painted. The finished painting is enhanced and protected with two coats satin varnish.
