Parrot tulips are fascinating, curiously curled and coloured. Here they sit on a small side table in the bedroom; the view through is actually to a bathroom, but I liked the odd patch of light and the sense of rooms leading onto other rooms beyond.
This painting is framed in a simple wooden moulding, stained black and wax polished.
