The departing stingrays depict the importance of taking action. They rebel against the dull, boring slow moving world of imposed symmetry and forced order. Although mostly in a series of blues, the light patterns feature reds, yellows, even purples that can be quickly cancelled out as you focus on the stingrays tails. From a variety of angles there is a lot of dark faces and wild expressions hidden within the water and bubbles. Angry, shocked and dark faces lurk all over the painting. Rage, alarm, ferocity and a even moonlike shape of sorrow nestles at the tail of the stingrays. Their imposed negativity does nothing to change these creatures choices and affects them not. All of these dark forces are more than welcome to impose their negative faces and opinions on the stingrays, who make a swift, uncaring and oblivious exit.
