Description of artwork Part of the series 'Winter Sunset'. The scene depicted shows the setting sun low in the west as seen through a hedge. The gate in the painting appears to have been unused for many seasons and was blocked with brambles and grasses. It is painted in artist quality watercolours on Bockingford 140lb Not surface paper and is double mounted in off white in conservation standard mountboard, overall size 16 x 20 inches. Signed by the artist.
