I created this imaginary harbour and boats using a variety of media including kitchen roll, texturiser, PVA glue, acrylics, oil pastel, stitching and beads. I'm particularly pleased with the wave crests which I created using PVA glue and glass seed beads. I have also applied opal dust to the sea to give it a bit of sparkle. The sides of the canvas have been painted a bluey green to compliment the colours in the picture and the right hand side has been signed. High Tide has been thoroughly sprayed with matt varnish and comes ready to hang.
