Description of artwork Postage Stamp Collage... Living on the edge of the National Forest while shopping or taking the dog for a walk we go ‘through the trees’. The sun shines in pools of light on the tarmac and the silver birch gracefully stand out against a background of the coniferous dark green spiky foliage. Bracken fronds bow to the vagaries of the wind as the road weaves and rolls through the shire. This work was created from over 3000 used postage stamps.
