Through the chaos of nature- patterns emerge. Consistent, identical shapes such as the Hexagon are created through volcanic activity and the toil of the honey bee. In this image, the perfection of a uniform grid of polygons is contradicted with random colours. The diagrams in the top right and bottom left also have significant meaning through a paradox. Science and mythology converge into a symbiotic relationship. A celebration of quantum physics through abstract art.
This artwork utilises texture, metallic acrylic paint and technical drawing methods to create depth and illusionary effects. This painting is set in a unique angled MDF frame, with heavy texturisation and gloss varnish. The piece is almost sculptural and is heavy- adequate wall mounting is desirable but the artwork comes with chord ready to hang.
