Summer Woodland is part of the National Trust trust series, and it depicts woodland near Ightham Mote in Kent, where I had my 2012 exhibition this year as part of my art residence. I had been painting and exhibiting for the National Trust South East for the last 3 years. The painting is not framed, however because it is painted round the sides, the frame is not necessary.
