About the original picture:
My sister-in-law brought me a selection of rice bowls from Hong Kong, and this was my favourite, with the dragon chasing around the bowl. Just outside our kitchen window, a Japonica tree is one of the first colourful - and welcome - signs of Spring each year. I put these together on a glass-topped table on an early April morning. Japanese Quince and Chinese bowl - a cultural clash or an Oriental blend?
About the print: This is a giclee print of the painting, produced to standards set by the Fine Art Trade Guild. It is in a strictly limited edition of 95, signed and numbered. Each one is printed with archive-quality inks onto heavy (310gsm) acid-free etching paper. The prints are window-mounted with thick mounting card (the mount adding approximately 7 inches to the width and height of each print), then backed and cellophane wrapped for protection.
