James Morton

United Kingdom

Depicting the melancholic underbelly of society, Bristol artist James Ralph Morton uses oils to make large scale portraits. Contrasting the bleakness with hope of the downtrodden people, these portraits take on an often ethereal quality, with various methods of paint application pushing and pulling different features to the forefront of the painting.
James has exhibited around the UK and done commissions further afield including Berlin, Sydney, Tallin, and New York.

James Morton has 23 artworks.

James Morton does not have any gifts on show at the moment.
