Alexandria Fleet Club where armed forces met and rested during World War 2. This picture is of two (I have been advised) American airmen in summer uniform waiting in the heat outside the Fleet Club. Its one of a pair of military pictures I have of this location, in the other painting there are a pair of British sailors (What shall we do with the worried sailor?). The two sets of men were standing next to each other, both lost in their own worlds. North Africa, Egypt, wartime, militaria, world war 2, Alexandria Fleet Club, American airmen.
