The main square in Setúbal, Portugal, is a busy pedestrianised space with shoppers and students and office workers criss-crossing it constantly, sometimes stopping off for a coffee in the many cafes before going on back to work, study or the market. Looking down on them all stands the statue of Bocage, Setúbal’s rebellious 18th century poet.
One of a series of collaged Portuguese scenes.
