Copper and steel Tiger created with a steel framework, inlaid with Copper sections. After the framework was completed in steel it took over one hundred hand shaped copper pieces to complete this sculpture. The sculpture was then polished, lacquered and mounted on a carved hardwood base. I carved the base roughly emphasising the grain of the wood to Give it an earthy Jungle look. The posture of the Tiger reflects the stalking nature of a Tiger silently moving through the jungle. The title of this piece is taken from the poem by William Blake.
