This artwork was created by Marcus in celebration of his one man show Art Exhibition, RSM Sheringham, which ran 3rd to 17th April 2017 at the Exhibition Space, Sheringham MO Museum, Lifeboat Plain, Sheringham, Norfolk, England. Central to it is an image of a Wooden Beach Groyne near Sheringham Seafront with a gap in it. The beach area around it on the photograph has been obscured and deconstructed with locally found objects including Seaweed, Sand, Seashells and pebbles. These added to with other materials. There's a legend on a snapped Lollipop stick, 'Norfolk'. Broken Jewellery, Coins (one Roman) and Gems help to form this Keepsake. An RSM Sheringham Treasure. The artwork is contained in the Vacuum Sealed Pouch visually echoing hanging Sea Fishery items like Kippers. Hence the image is landscape but hangs Portrait. The pouch is the artworks dimensions its use in part inspired by Shark's eggs.. This Treasure should be wall hung from its included hanging furniture clip. It can also be framed. Signed, dated and titled on reverse.
