Textile Artwork

Blickling Hall is a historic National Trust property in beautiful North Norfolk.

Once the home of the Boleyn family (it is said to have been a childhood home to Anne Boleyn) the 17th century building has ornate gardens and a well stocked lake.

I have created this unique piece of artwork using scraps of vintage recycled fabric mixed with modern designers such as Liberty and Tilda. Once I have drawn a design 'pattern' each piece is cut, arranged and finally stitched into place. Mostly I free-machine embroidery but for intricate detail I hand stitch.

Each of my designs are truly original and cannot be reproduced. This artwork is signed, mounted and framed in a light grey box frame.
