My interpretation of the amazing geological rock formation called the Lulworth Crumple, Stair Hole, near Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door in Dorst. This is a magnificent cliff face showing all the layers of rock, literally crumpled onto each other. The Crumple was produced when the tectonic plates carrying Europe and Africa crashed into one another about 65 million years ago. It is such a special beautiful place visited by many people from all over the world each year.
