Created in 1996, this art work was produced after I took a series of photographs of derelict areas of Bradford. This house was part of a group of terraced houses, but was the only house that remained. It was on the edge of an industrial factory site and once housed workers for the cotton industry. It was produced in acrylic paints with oil pastels and a grouted effect to create texture. The piece does have a couple of tears on the left side due to the heavy nature of the materials used on the paper (grout). These do not detract from the piece of the work though.
