Painted from a sketch made on the spot in summertime of a favourite spot of mine. Aplace that i have painted in many times.
It is painted using acrylic and a large brush and just two colours and white on a black ground showing all the marks made. I always feel that the viewer can experience the artists feelings when painting by seeing the marks that were made by the movement of the painter.
