The "Obby Oss Day Ballon Seller" in Acylics as been inspired by the Padstow May Day in Cornwall. The 'Obby 'Oss festival is a folk custom that takes place each May Day in Padstow. It is in a English coastal town in the county of Cornwall. It involves two separate processions making their way around the town, each containing an eponymous hobby horse known as the 'Obby 'Oss... And I spotted this ballon seller near the seafront selling ballons to Cornish people who wear the traditional White and Red costume. I have framed the acyrlic painting in homemade square pine and MDF painted over with gold effect paint. Your local framer can re-frame if you wish. I will package securely and send out recorded delivery as quickly as possible... The original acrylic painting has been painted on standard depth canvas and will require a frame. A gold frame would suit the colours maybe?
