Postage Stamp Collage---
This portrait of Queen Elizabeth 11 is composed of over 4000 used postage stamps ironically bearing her face – an issue recently aired with the proposed sale of the Royal Mail where it is now contractual to maintain her portrait head on future stamps. It depicts her as she is now, older, wiser and still much loved in the later years of her long reign. Behind her is the Union flag in shades of green representing her commitment and that of her son Charles’ commitment to green issues, sustainable development and care for the environment.
