Singer Debbie Harry was the renowned lead singer of the new wave and punk rock band Blondie. She achieved a symbolic status of popular culture when she became the subject of a 1980 acrylic and silkscreen print on canvas by Andy Warhol. This iconic portrait was sold by auction at Sotheby’s in June 2011 for £3,737,250. Pete created this work using over 2400 postage stamps in tribute to Warhol.
