A portrait created from approximately 4000 used postage stamps of Queen Elizabeth 11 celebrating her Diamond Jubilee. She is wearing the King George 1V State Diadem or Diamond Diadem which was made in 1820. The design features roses, thistles and shamrocks, the symbols of England, Scotland and Ireland respectively. It was worn during the coronations of George 1V, Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth 11. It is also depicted on British Machin series stamps.
